Cagetec roll cages are sand blasted, primed and then powder coated to ensure a tough, long term surface treatment. Cagetec utilises a local Perth powder coating company who are recognised for their high quality work and who are NACE accredited.
The Cagetec Safety Cage and roof for this Polaris RZR Turbo has been powder coated and now installed and ready for collection.
The Cagetec safety cage for the Polaris is looking sleek, with the main frame fabricated, next is all the cross bracing, corner bracing and windscreen intrusion bars. This Polaris is getting the full Cagetec treatment, with front and rear protection bars and also nerf bars.
The very flash Yamaha YXZ is coming along nicely, as with any new build, a little extra time spent at the start will benefit the final result. We are aiming to keep the factory “Raptor” look and improve on the aggressive styling while incorporating a very safe CAMS spec Cagetec Cage, Cagetec Mirrors, CAMS spec Roof, Cagetec Nerf Bars, and with Cobra seats fitted.
A productive day in the Cagetec workshop, the X3 Safety Cage is fabricated ready for welding. We started with the removal of the twisted factory cage, a result from a roll over, now to a very safe and strong CDS (Cold Drawn Seamless tube) Cagetec cage.
The LSA Marloo ute CAMS cage is now complete so back to work on the X3 and RZR, both are being supplied with Cagetec safety cages that can be easily upgraded to CAMS spec for racing if required later.
Lots of late nights this week, a HSV R8 LSA Ute CAMS cage almost complete, re-stocking of Cagetec CDS 600 and Cagetec Tube Joiners at Opposite Lock/Revolution Racegear Welshpool and collected the next X3 for a Cagetec Safety Roll Cage.
