Motorsport Australia/AASA Race Spec Roll Cage Weld it yourself Kit (MIG or TIG) to suit Canam Maverick R. Made from Cold Drawn Seamless (CDS) Steel, this kit has been CAD designed, cut, bent and notched to ensure precision and accurate fit. This cage kit replaces the standard factory Maverick R cage. This Cage kit has been designed to keep the factory rear tray and can be paired with other Cagetec WIY accessories such as front and rear bumper. It also includes windscreen intrusion bars for additional strength and safety. Cage kit includes base plates and all bars as shown in the photos. Raw Aluminum Roof and raw aluminium doors with dzus fasteners for mounting are optional extras or can be purchased individually
This cage comes with several options
High Door Cage kit – for use with custom with steel doors (factory doors are no longer used)
Factory Door Cage kit with fixed doors (requires modification of plastics to notch around the cage. Factory door is retained, but is not functional as a door)
Factory Door Cage kit with opening doors (requires modification of plastics to notch around the cage. Factory door is retained and is functional as a door)
Please note;
- This kit should be assembled and welded by a competent fabricator/welder
- Tubes require linishing before welding
- Roof not included unless selected
- Door not included unless selected
- Kit comes in raw finish
